Get Your Goat On Kodiak

Kodiak Guide Service has scouted an excellent mountain goat area on Kodiak. With no natural predators, the mountain goat population is thriving and expanding. Mountain goats here have rapid horn growth rate and an excellent habitat in user-friendly terrain. Michael has enjoyed a 100% success over the past years guiding mountain goat hunters in this area. Typically, we’ll fly into a lake and hunt from there or spot and stalk from sea level. A spike camp is set up within easy reach of the area.
Mountain goat permits are issued on a draw basis in Kodiak. Clients have drawn every season since the season opened in the areas Michael hunts.
